Typically, cinemas keep a percentage of the ticket sales revenue, with the rest going to the film distributor. This percentage can range from around 50% to 70% for major blockbuster films, with independent and smaller cinemas sometimes negotiating for a higher percentage. Additionally, cinemas also make money from concessions sales, which can further contribute to their overall revenue from screening a film. **
