Opinions on the best Texas Chainsaw Massacre film vary, but many fans consider the original 1974 film directed by Tobe Hooper to be the best. It is often praised for its gritty, raw, and terrifying portrayal of a group of friends who encounter a family of cannibals in rural Texas. The film's low-budget, documentary-style approach and iconic villain, Leatherface, have solidified its status as a classic in the horror genre. **

Yes, the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie was banned in Germany for over 25 years due to its violent content. However, the ban was lifted in 2013, and the film is now available for distribution and viewing in Germany. The ban was initially imposed due to concerns about the graphic violence and its potential impact on viewers. **

A purposeful massacre is a deliberate and systematic killing of a large number of people, often targeting a specific group based on their ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs. It is carried out with the intention of causing fear, terror, and destruction, and is often used as a tool of oppression, genocide, or ethnic cleansing. These acts are premeditated and orchestrated with the goal of exterminating or subjugating a particular population. **

The Nanking Massacre, also known as the Rape of Nanking, was a period of mass murder and atrocities committed by the Imperial Japanese Army against the residents of Nanking, China, during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The massacre took place over a six-week period starting in December 1937, during which an estimated 300,000 Chinese civilians and disarmed soldiers were killed, and widespread looting and sexual violence occurred. The event is considered one of the worst atrocities of World War II and has had a lasting impact on Sino-Japanese relations. **

The worst massacre in modern history is the Rwandan genocide, which occurred in 1994. During this 100-day period, an estimated 800,000 Tutsi and moderate Hutu were killed by extremist Hutu militias. The genocide was fueled by longstanding ethnic tensions and political power struggles in the country. The international community's failure to intervene and stop the violence has been widely criticized, and the aftermath of the genocide continues to have a profound impact on Rwanda and its people. **

I find the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre film to be the most brutal. The raw and gritty nature of the film, combined with the realistic and intense portrayal of violence, makes it particularly disturbing. The film's focus on the psychological terror inflicted by Leatherface and his family, as well as its unrelenting and unapologetic approach to horror, sets it apart as one of the most brutal entries in the franchise. **
